These are the two frizzle chicks I hatched out around Halloween from DipsyDoodleDoo.
The black one's not a frizzle though...but she's cute! I just love them because they are cute either way!
Both chicks hatched from Frizzle eggs, but the father to the chicks is a smooth feathered cochin roo, so the black one may not be frizzled, but it carries the frizzle gene.
Quote:Here are my 2 that hatched from DDD's frizzle eggs:
They were hatched around July 28 this year. I think they're adorable!
CuteCuteCute! I love seeing the pics!
Eggs from Dipsy are on my wish list...
I'm saving up for the next time she posts some for sale...THEY'RE MINE, so everyone else just don't even attempt to get them.
I got some and I just have to get the pics posted.....dial up is to danged slow!
Dipsy has great eggs, and does a great job packing!
DDD: Do you have the colors separated? Or do they get to mix?
My friend ordered eggs off Ebay for Giant White Coching Frizzle birds. If you read about Frizzles, you will find that not all of them will hatch with the feathers turning backwards, or Frizzle. Some will be normal feathering.
Here are pics of two sisters from these eggs. One turned out at planned, Giant White Frizzle Cochin the other is a ?? Giant Barred Rock Coching?? Non frizzle. I believe she will carry the frizzle gene, but I have not seen her eggs as of yet.

Named that way cause we thought the chick died at birth, it was wrapped up in a paper towel and tossed away, then it screamed and screamed. And we pulled the chick out and it made it.
