frizzle cochin bantam hen

I have an 11th month old frizzle cochin bantam who laid 1 egg in november (her very first egg). She has not layed since then. Is this normal for this breed? When can i expect her to begin laying on a regular basis? I have a nesting box in the coop which is also used by a columbian rock hen. I appreciate any comment/suggestions.

I have a bantam Brahma hen that started laying in August last summer. She and her 3 bantam Cornish girlfriends have not given me eggs since December either. I believe that because they are an old breed they need much more light than say a Leghorn. I suspect we will be seeing eggs when the days start to become longer.
