Hi, we are new to the lovely world of chickens, we have would really love to add a frizzle to our chicken family but no one seems to have any here in Mi. My kids show 4-h and we have a silkie but my son would really love a frizzle.

    thanx's

Well frizzle is just a gene that appears in many breeds. The most common frizzles are the cochin(often just called a Frizzle when frizzled) & the serama as well as the polish. Find breeders of these breeds in your area & see if they have any frizzled birds for you.

The Michigan Bird and Game Breeders Association puts on 5 swap meets around the state each year. You never know what you'll find at one. The first one for 2016 will be in Imlay City, on April 30th.
