frizzle what?

    Its my understanding that frizzle is a characteristic not a breed. I bought some birds the gal said they are frizzles. I said frizzled what? she didnt know what i was talking about. What breed are these? They have feathered feet.

    whatever the breed I bought both frizzled and smooth both hens and roos.

    you probley have frizzle cockrins(sp) it looks like

    edit: they look like bantams

    they are a hair smaller than the silkies so yes they are bantams.

    they really remind me of the cochran frizzels i have seen before. if you breed them only breed a frizzle to a non frizzle [​IMG]

    I actually knew that much lol. Most of the hens are frizzle and most of the roos are smooth.
