Frizzle ??

    Frizzle or sizzle?? Someone gave me some silkie eggs to hatch and this is what came out ..! Also hen or roo??? Im hoping for it to be a hen

    As for the gender of the chick, it may take months to figure out. I didn't know the gender of my silkies until 6.5 months.

    Honestly, I don't know the difference between sizzle and frizzle. All I know is frizzle. I guess ya' learn somethin' new everyday. Hopefully somebody will be able to answer that...

    agree I don't know what a sizzle is, they look like frizzles. Let them grow in their crest and neck feathers - they are too , too young. At 4-5 mos. of age maybe we can tell but then would also need front shots showing full extent of combs.

    A sizzle is a silkie x frizzle mix .. I was wondering if he looked more frizzle or more sizzled

    It still looks like a frizzle i think too many names are invented for chickens. Unless that is just to signify one parent was a silkie
