I have a question. I have some frizzled polish bantams and have heard I can't breed frizzle to frizzled. So do I put them with my other standard polish? What do I do about breeding them?

I have always heard to breed frizzle to smooth too, but if you call McMurry Hatchery they will tell you the frizzle is a breed and you can breed frizzle to frizzle. ????

  6. You can go the polish breeders website and they have an article on how to breed frizzled polish.

Frizzle is NOT a breed (in the US). It is recognised for ALL breeds by both the APA and ABA.

When Breeding Frizzles Your Best Results Will Be From A Frizzle Bred To A Smooth Featherd Bird.

Frizzle X Frizzle Can Get Very Ugly [IMG]

Had A Friend Breed Frizzle X Frizzle With Her Cochins & They Featherd Out Very Skimpy & Patchy Through Out Their Bodies.

You Could Practically See The Bare Skin OF The Bird, The Appearence Of The Frizzle X Frizzle Bred Flock, Looked Almost As If They Were Badly Feather Picked [IMG] .
