Now I know I've seen this recipe on here before, and believe me, it felt a little odd typing it in the subject line! [IMG]

I went to the farmers market a couple weeks ago and a man was there selling canned produce. I noticed FROG balls on his table and commented about them, and he let me try them. They were pretty tasty! My mom went to the coast this past weekend and brought back a whole stalk of brussel sprouts, and I would like to try canning some. I searched for the recipe but all I got was the canning thread and honestly, I dont have the time or desire to go through all 510 pages, haha.

So if anyone could post the recipe for me, I would really appreciate it! Thank You and have a Happy Thanksgiving!

KDbeads, I wish to thank you over and over again! I searched for the past hour in the canning thread for this recipe and never could find it. I have been on your blog, The Stray Needle, multiple times and love seeing all of the various things you can. I kept looking at your posts and finally thought to myself, "Have I seen them on there?" so I went and checked, and sure enough! There they were. So no more searching for me, I have pies to bake tomorrow and I need some sleep. So again, thank you so much for having such a great blog that is easy to follow. Have a Happy Thanksgiving.

LOL! You should have seen my friends when I went back to our egg booth and said, "Uhh... I just ate frog balls". Talk about bug eyed, LOL.

Glad you enjoyed them. I was the original poster here on BYC i have been experimenting and finished making a batch of habenaro frog balls a few weeks ago. My brother has already gone through a jar and a half in the week that they have been ready. He originally tried them in california but those were store bought..... he said this batch doesnt taste "dilly" enough so i am trying to grow fresh dill in the dead of winter.

Everything tastes better when you make it yourself. My brother started this and now i have overflowing requests from friends and family... lol the word has spread. The fresh dill really does make it though..... I can barely keep up
