From duck nest to friends incubator

My girls, Bella & Trix, each lay 1 egg every morning. Bella covers them with the wood shavings, and they go about their day. My friend, whom I originally got our boys , Daffy & Affy, from 3 yrs. ago. Would like a few days worth of duck eggs to incubate. If I take the 2 eggs each AM, and bring them inside. Should I keep them warm until we meet on Sunday? I figured that I would place them in a shoebox @ room temp or should I keep them warmer?

What I do, when saving for incubation, I collect the eggs everyday. Put them in a egg carton, but make sure you put the eggs in, pointy side down. And dont keep them warm. But dontbput them in the frige. Just a cool, dark place. Good luck!
