One of my girls, Optimus Prime Chicken is suddenly in the past week, doing the egg squat (YAY!) and I wondered does this action have any direct relation to the amount of time before she's going to lay her first egg? She's 18 weeks today. The other two are showing no signs yet.

My BR took about 2-2.5 weeks from the time I noticed the squat. My BO is now doing it so I am hopeful!

Give yourself 3 weeks.... who knows, you may be pleasantly surprised before that.

For me, about 1 week to 2 weeks.
Don't worry, you'll get an egg soon!

    Good Luck!
