Today we had a snow storm with winds up to 30 miles per hour. I checked the girls for frost bite this morning and didn’t notice any issues. I checked again before bed and noticed my maran’s tip of her comb looks like possible frost bite starting? The run is covered and has 3 walls… the storm was just crazy today. The coop is dry and clean, so no worries of moisture there.

Can anyone confirm if this is the first stage of frostbite?

I’ve brought her into my garage for the meantime. It’s still pretty chilly but I didn’t want to bring her straight inside and shock her.

If it is frost bite, how long should I keep her inside?

It could be the start of frostbite. I've seen it plenty of times on my chickens combs, but it was never an issue. You can keep an eye on it for any changes, but I wouldn't worry about it unless it changed. :)
