Frostbite help please

One of our hens ended up with frostbite after the frigid cold we had early in the week. Unfortunately we didn’t notice it until today . We did all we knew to do to prevent this from happening but one of them ended up with frostbite. Is there anything we can do this many days later to treat it? I feel like a such a bad chicken mama.

Just leave it
It will either heal or that section will die and fall off

Don't beat yourself up over this. Nature has taken the tips of many of a combs from flocks through the years. We just do what we can and some hens end up losing the points on their combs.

The cold we had was hard to prepare for. You’re not a bad chicken mama if you’re on here trying to figure out how to help her. A few of my chickens lost comb tips last year. We had negative temperatures for weeks and I was trying everything but those big combs still got it on the tips.
