One of our hens ended up with frostbite after the frigid cold we had early in the week. Unfortunately we didnā€™t notice it until today šŸ˜. We did all we knew to do to prevent this from happening but one of them ended up with frostbite. Is there anything we can do this many days later to treat it? I feel like a such a bad chicken mama.

The cold we had was hard to prepare for. Youā€™re not a bad chicken mama if youā€™re on here trying to figure out how to help her. A few of my chickens lost comb tips last year. We had negative temperatures for weeks and I was trying everything but those big combs still got it on the tips.
