I just went outside to check on my chickens and let them out and everything, and low and behold, my rooster has frostbite. He got it last year and everything was fine, but I don't want to risk him losing anymore of his comb.

It's already black. Is there anyway that I can reverse this and maybe he won't lose anymore of his comb? And how can I prevent frostbite? I'm putting bag balm on them and everything...
