Happens to me sometimes. I get up at around 5(cuz i have to drive my truck to a school where having a truck is weird.) everyday and go out to the hen house and sometimes i get a frozen egg.

Why is driving to work in a truck weird? I've only found frozen eggs when it is 10 and below. I'm surprised because it's still freezing outside and I haven't been warming my coop. Most of mine explode when they freeze. Had one that must have froze as it was coming out. It was elongated, thin, thin, thin and light in color. (brown eggs).
