Had 2 hens go broody on way too many eggs, so I'd heard of using an electric frying pan to hatch. Well, we ended up using a heating pad and tonight, we had success!

So now that we've had this one come out, any guesses, by looking at the egg and baby, what sort of chicken she might be? We have an Americuna roo and a White Leghorn roo,

A white leghorn is a white dominant and all chicks from him will be white with specks of color here and there.

Thanks for the guess. She does have some black marks on her and I'm really hoping she takes after her pops, since he is a most awesome rooster, unlike the beautiful but useless Fabio.
