    In comparison, how big do your RIR's get? My production ones (which I did not realize there was a difference until I butchered) are pretty darn small. Lay great eggs though.

    These are nice big birds with long huge breast on them when we process them.
    Egg production is very good on these. We have one group of them that are around 8 months old and are laying up a storm. With the days getting shorter and even with all the rain that we are getting they are still laying strong.
