I have barred rocks that have both white legs and yellow legs. The ones I got from McMurray have white legs; they are terrific layers, and I really love them. I got some other eggs from a breeder here at BYC, and those all have yellow legs. I think its just getting persnickety on my part, but according to the standard they have yellow or dusky yellow legs. Having white legs certainly doesnt make them "not" barred rocks. Its like Orpingtons are supposed to have white or slate with white underneath. If they have yellow legs, it is a disqualification. Doesnt make them not Orpingtons, just not conforming exactly to the standard.

I didnt mean to cause any concern.
