Kitchen is almost done. We're still waiting for the backsplash to come in for the area between the range and hood. I need to go by Michaels and get a blackboard for the door to the laundry room and we still need to order a couple of flat panel LED lights to replace the fixtures in the kitchen and dining areas.

Went out to lower the roost and found everyone in the pools

Coop now. I'm going to clean and sanitize before I move chicks outside. New coat of whitewash and a dose of permethrin as well. The mini coop will go first to prep for babies, no more access for the bigs so I'll move the fan so it circulates air through the big coop for now.

I clean them out in the afternoon and put fresh in with ice cubes. I'd like to make the shade better than it is though.

I think cocktails with umbrellas in them would be a nice touch (j/k).

It takes some work to keep them comfortable for sure!

Absolutely! I remember working with my FL flock to combat the heat and humidity...it was practically a full time job, but I enjoyed messing with them.

I remember a time when neither one of us wanted any NN's. Now look at us! My nextdoor neighbor has also become addicted to them. She came over here this morning and picked out 2 pullet's that are 5 week's old that she want's. She doesn't want any that aren't NN's.
