We have two chickens that are small, it is their breed. The male of the two being the rooster has taken to our game chicken who is twice his size.
Yesterday, he was "on" her and trying with all of his might. She lay there quietly waiting....and he kept on trying but he kept falling off of her.
So around the tenth attempt he tried to get on her back again and I guess the others became curious so here come 12 more chickens and roos' they surrounded the two birds and kept chattering while bending down to talk to the game chicken. Then they started hopping around, raising their wings like a cheerleading squad. Finally tag a log gave up rather mad and stormed off with head held down and hid behind the tree.
