I have 14 week old BO pullet who is getting introduced to the older chickens. She's in a wire A-frame on dry days so that she can get acquainted. At night or on rainy days, she's in a large dog crate in the kitchen. As I was cooking my son's breakfast ham, she started freaking out. She was bouncing around and jumping on and off her perch. Then she'd poke her beak out of the crate and do it again. Could she be begging for ham? Yup. Ate it like a little fiend and then quieted down when I stopped cooking. The surprizing thing is that she's never had anything except crumbles. She sure figured ot ham in a hurry! lol
