I have 6 5 week old silkies and 4 3 week old assorted bantams. Well, today I thought it was such a beautiful day and the little girls should get a little outside time for the first time. I was a little leery but decided that I would sit outside with the little ones while the bigger ones were inside their run. Well, one of the little ones bolts straight to the fence that blocks the dogs from that side of the yard and almost into one of the dog's mouths. Soooo, I thought I would just give it a try putting the little ones in the run with the bigger girls. I stood right there in case there were any problems. Well, the funniest thing happened. All my bigger silkies got scared of the babies and ran and hid in their coop! They are definitely more afraid of the little ones than the little ones are of them! Silly little silkies!
