Funny looking bird might be a boy

    I think so too...but we got him at 5 days old and there was another chick that looked like him but that was was an obvious cockrail compared to this one. But now 3 months later this one looks like a cockrail

    Sickle feathers in his tail, bronzing over his shoulders, and the start of shiny pointy saddle feathers are all male secondary sex characteristics. The only thing I do not see is pointy hackle feathers.
