Funny noises coming from the coop. Uh-oh...a rooster? Pics Included

    Our chicklets are about 3 months old and for the last few mornings one of our "ladies" has been making her presence known in no uncertain terms. The consensus a couple of months ago was that we have all girls, but I'm starting to wonder.

    My very unprofessional guess is all girls and number one looks like an EE to me too.

    Your EE might be a cockeral in my humble opinion...s/he doesnt scream male but does whisper it a little!

    I agree that the EE looks roo-ish. The color of the comb, the overall color pattern & the tail. Hens can crow, but I'm suspicious that one isn't a hen.

    The EE looks like a rooster. Rooster's tail feathers are always pointing down at the end, and hen's tails point up.
