I have posted a couple of stories about these guys... long story short, they were malnourished when a friend gave them to me, they are aprox. 3mo. old and have taken a long time to mature. The roos on her property look like beautiful OEG they are just stunning. She has no idea what kind they are and I don't have any pics but from the images I have seen they really look like OEG . Now that they have all their feathers almost what do you guys think??????

the roos look a lot like this guy here but NOT rose or flat comb

They still seem very small compared to my other standard chicken the same age but didn't see any bantys on her property. I am just wondering if they lay eggs what ind would they be? also they have gotten more skiddish as they have gotten older, is that normal for OEG?

This is Oreo (roo?)

WOW....that's a really nice looking BBR rooster. It could be a AGB...does he look like this? Do you recall if her rooster have blue or green legs? If he does, he's a American Game Bantam.

I think you may be right about them being a AG mix, I still am unsure if they are bantam, I know the possible fathers that I saw were standards. And they look a lot like the pic you posted. Some have red necks and some a buff color neck, I think she had 4 or 5 roos. They were free range and came in and out of her yard.
Does anyone know where I can get some info on things like their temperament? The pullets seem very docile and submissive to the others but the one I think is a roo thinks he is bigger than he is and chases the big birds. He has become a real touch me not and is a bully to his siblings.
Is it possible for them to come from different mothers and be hatched by the same hen since they are free range?
thanks to anyone that can help!
