Hi, everyone

I was wondering if Garden Lime is dangerous for chickens? I heard that it is real useful for controlling odors and drying out the "waste" that poultry produces...but am not sure if its okay to use around chickens.

Also can i just sprinkle it on top of the feces and leave it there? And someone said not to put lime EVERY DAY....?

Any tips or advice would be appreciated!

Thanks.

It's very very very very very very dusty. (Can't empasize this enough.)

You can use it if you're in a well ventilated area- it will get everywhere if you're not careful, so don't go overboard (and try not to use with the chickens around.)

It is very drying.
