    Yes, they are. Males are lighter and females are darker.

    Yes only if they are based on the Birchen allele, I have seen golden cuckoo based on wheaten(yellow chick down) and when based on wheaten the chick down is just yellow/cream, but when based on birchen the down is dark allowing the sex linked barring gene to do it's job(to lighten up the double barred males)

    Ok cool, so look for birchen allele based GCMs. and they are the darker down
