YES! I got my very first goose egg of the season today! It was a bit cold, so I have it getting warm and then I'm throwing it in the incubator with some 4 chicken eggs. I have read about people hatching cold refrigerated chicken eggs, so I might as well give it a shot, you never know what might happen. But now that I know they're laying, I'm going to check a couple times every day so I can catch them fresh. I'll keep everyone updated to let you know. I'll candle it in about 2 weeks and see what is brewing up inside. YAY! Update: there are now 4 sebastopol geese eggs & 6 mixed chicken eggs in my incubator. Any tips or information on anything you suggest being done with the goose eggs would be appreciated.
