3A099AB1-B963-4663-9F48-91AC54D8A911.jpeg Hello everyone! This is my first post, but I’ve been stalking the site for a while. I bought these guys on November 9th. I’m estimating they’re about 18 weeks old now. Supposedly they are all female, 3 Araucanas, 1 silver lace Wyandotte, 1 golden sex-link, and 1 Black Australorp. Obviously I ended up with 2 SLW’s, and I’m pretty sure at least one rooster. I’m also thinking the remaining 2 Araucanas are probably just Easter eggers. Any help you guys could give in sexing them and confirming their breed now that they are older would be extremely helpful! Thank you!

The "Arucanas" are definitely easter eggers. But they all look female to me as well as breeds seem to be right on!

That’s the one I’m not sure about. Side by side that SLW is much bigger than the other one, and their hackle feathers differ. Plus it’s comb and waddle are much more developed.

I agree with pullets except for the last photo SLW who appears to be a cockerel

All pullets, no doubt in my mind. Silver Laced Wyandotte, Black Australorp, Red Sex Link, Easter Egger, Easter Egger, Silver Laced Wyandotte. All are thinking about starting to lay. That last Wyandotte is getting very close to starting.

Agree with Gray Farms. Those are all girls. Wyandotte girls often get big, red combs early on.

All pullets, breeds are spot on, and the last Wyandotte is earlier maturing and about to lay.

So we got our first egg yesterday! Our girls are about 22 weeks. We got a second egg this morning. Based off of productivity, can I assume that our new layer is the sex link? Or could it be the Wyandotte?
