Gender and breed?

Sometimes you can get a white bird from two parents that aren't white, if they both carry recessive white. If you want white birds though, white plymouth rocks are a good choice in the pure breeds.

Is there any 2 breeds that would give me pure white chickens
I'm confused. If you want white offspring why don't you get a white breed? There are plenty out there - white Rock, Cochin, Giant, Leghorn, Cornish, and so on. Or even cross 2 white breeds for more white chicks.

If you are looking for a pair of non-white birds that will produce white offspring, it can only happen if they carry recessive white. Unfortunately you can't tell whether or not bird carries recessive white just by sight.
