is there any specific reason why the white ones comb is smaller? that’s why i thought maybe he was a pullet. Both are for sure roosters, Not too sure on their breed tho, Could be mixes.
View attachment 1500344 View attachment 1500343 View attachment 1500342 This is my first time owning chicks and I have two chickens and i’m not sure what gender or breed they are. I think the white one is a pullet and the black/brown one is a rooster? I’ve had no eggs (got them as chicks mid April) and they’re both crowing but the females(?) sounds much different and more like she’s screeching? lol. someone help.
lol it’s okay!! this is my first time owning chickens i was hoping i had one of each, i just wasn’t sure because of their combs.Sorry, I had to laugh! Definitely Cockerels!
thank you! they were from the same hen so i thought they would look the similar if they were the same gender.Yes, different breeds can have very different looking combs. I think the dark one looks like a maran mix. I'm not sure on the light colored one.
thank you!Looks like 2 cockerels.
