Gender, breed, age?

Can anybody tell me what gender they think this is? Also the age? I've been calling it a girl and my 2 year old named her Bomb.

Also I would like to know the breed if anybody knows. It's not that important to me though.

It looks like maybe a month old production red. Could you get a closer shot of its head? I can't see its comb very well.

At this point in time it does not look like a rooster, but that may change in the upcoming weeks. I'd say give it another month, and you should be able to tell by that point.
