I got these three chickens today. I was told I had 2 wyandotte roos, and a golden phoenix pullet. They are all 4-5 months old. I asked the person I got them from about the roo/pullet factor, because the "roo" looks more like a hen to me. I think I have 2 hens and roo (roo wyandotte, hen wyandotte, and a hen golden phoenix). What do you guys think???? #1 Golden Phoenix hen?? #2 blue lace wyandotte hen?? #3 Blue lace red wyandotte roo???
How old are they? The Phoenix is definitely female. The second Wyandotte is definitely not breeding or show quality with that single comb.
they are 4-5 months old. Not worried about if they are show or breed quailty. I was told I was getting 2 roos and a hen, b ut I don't think the lady knew what she was talking about. I am I right with the sexing?????
For birds over 4 months old, I'm not seeing any male specific feathering. I think you may have three pullets, one at point of lay.
