Gender /breed???

Welcome to Backyard Chickens! It looks like a buckeye so far. It is too young to indicate the gender at this age but I am leaning more towards cockerel. How old is he/she?

Yes, it's most likely a buckeye. Where did you purchase?

Wait until your chick is six weeks old then post pics of the comb for the gender.

Going off the feathering, it's about 4 weeks.

Still to young to say for sure. What color are its legs? Feathered? How many toes? Looks Rose or Cushion combed to me. Do you have any good pics of its comb.

Hi there! Will be 1 month on the 30th so about 3.5 weeks now
