Gender guesses, 4 week old mix breed chickens

I know they are still a little young but I know many chicks start showing signs of gender by 4 weeks. We hatched 7 mixed breed chicks meant to be pets and for eggs. We think we have 5 females and 2 males. We think chick 1 and 3 are males. They both have bigger more reddish combs and both chest bump a lot though the others will join in the fight to given the chance. Any opinions on gender?

My guess is 1 & 3 are male. The rest are still 50-50.

I agree with your assessments, but can still change for the others in a few weeks. 1 and 3 do appear to be male at this time.

Thank you, we know it’s just an educated guess at this time but we have never had chickens and wanted people with more experience then us to put their 2 cents in

These were mine at 4 wks and all ended up being girls. So for guessing purposes yours are girls too minus 1 & 3

You should be able to tell fairly well at around 6-8 weeks. Repost with updated photos if you are still uncertain at that time.
