Hi!

I’m new to raising ducks and am curious about Huey, Dewey, and Louie.

They all have a dark top, and the largest, Huey, has a definite green sheen to its head. However, two of the three quack - including Huey who was the first to object to being picked up with a decent quack. The rest of their bodies appear to be uniform.

Anyone care to weigh in their guesses as to the genders? I’ll post a couple of pictures of them and keep refreshing as they grow over the weeks. It doesn’t matter what gender they are- I will get females if they all turn out to be males.

Huey is top facing left, Dewey is on the left facing up, and Louie is on the right with the oranger bill:

I think I have one duck (Louie) and two drakes (Huey and Dewey), but the two that quack (so far) are Huey and Dewey. They are named in size too, with Huey the largest and Louie the smallest. One more pic, same order:

Hi all!

New evidence for your votes! They now have color coming in their feathers. I have a pic of each and a video of their “quack”. You tell me if it’s a quack or a rasp! Wait for the last one at the end of the video. They are all capable of quacking like that.

Ok. I can’t upload the video. I cut it down so it’s small enough, but it states it’s the wrong extension (.mov). What extension do I need?
