In the Brooder
That is the only duckling that hatched and survived before my muscovy drake died
Any idea what gender it is?
And he/she also has its wings hanging all the time....why is that??
Thanks Barb

2 1/2 monthsHow old is it?
It's always easier to sex with multiple ducks of the same age. Nothing at the moment strikes me as drake like just yet, but that doesn't mean that it's not.
Do the feet look partially big?
I am leaning towards female, but like you say @Thejperez hard to tell when nothing to compare. Are the legs set close together under the body or farther apart. The body looks more foot ball shaped. which tends to mean female but boy they can sure fool ya.
The easiest way to sex without having multiple ducks is what sound they make. If it starts hissing then you know its a drake!
