This is chicken hawk. My cousin says she believes that it is a roo. Any opinions please??

Thanks guys. I'm not use to seeing solid color cockerels. So another question for you I have a for sure pullet and a for sure cockerel they are both older than the littles both have been very Instinctively " motherly" they have their own chicks they watch over. The cockerel has taken in the pre-sexed chicks that were bought from the local feed store. The other pullet has taken in the ones that were incubated. They are both about a week older than the chicks. Is he instinctively watching over the hens?? This is my first flock. I have barely any idea of what I'm doing. I'm just reading and learning as I go.
