Gender question. English orp 7-8 months old

Discussion in 'What Breed Or Gender is This?' started by MartinsPoultry, Jan 12, 2018.

  1. I was given these guys in september at the age of four months old. Two are 100% cockerels they crow and mount my girls. The other two I am so dumbfounded about. All are same age. Bst photos I could get with weather turning.

IMG_20180112_122618.jpg Blue grey in back by barred, 100% Cockerel named Leo. Mommas boy. Cockerel bottom left unsure middle by guinea.

    Other two.

Boy and boy. Look at those shiny tail feathers, and there are distinct shiny hackle feathers on the second one's neck.

  4. Guess those two will be sold. I love those english orps but I do not need four cockerels when I have two already who are bonded, two light brahmas and a cochin mixed in with my main flock.

    Thank guys

Can we have a better photo of the one in the third pic.... the one you have labelled "total sweetheart". I'm not totally convinced that one is a cockerel, but the other 3 are.
