Feminine face but pretty obvious rooster tail feathers, I think. He is the biggest baby of the bunch, always close to mama hen and the least aggressive in snatching up treats.

Oh, that is helpful! I’ve been examining the tails more closely but they change so much at this young stage! Since I got my broody hen a clutch of fertilized eggs of mixed breeds (her third clutch since last spring), it’s always as fun as it is difficult to figure out who and what they all turn out to be!Judging by the comb at this age. Tail feathers are meaningless. Saddle feathers after 12 weeks of age are helpful.

I know some hens have very red combs and wattles, but I suppose they might remain pink until they’re older/ closer to laying eggs.
