Hi everyone. I've posted this little chicken before but it's been a while so I thought I would post new pics. At first I thought definite roo but now I'm not so sure. His comb hasn't grown at all and he has almost no waddles. He is 12 weeks old. Also had not started trying to crow. He is a frizzled silkie mix.

What a cute ball of fuzz [IMG] I'm going to guess a pullet but being a Silkie mix it's a bit more "complicated" .... Got a single comb & the wattles aren't very pronounced neither are RED, therefore saying pullet. However, thinking you may need to wait another month or two. Then again those with more experience will be lending their expertise.

Can we get a profile pic? If those patches of red I'm seeing are on the wings/shoulders, it's a cockerel.

That's what I was afraid of. It's on his head and I believe around his shoulder area.

He is such a little fluff ball. He's probably my favorite chick!

I noticed the red coming in but, thought maybe it was just the sun on him - wishful thinking. He probably is a roo but a real cutie pie.

Oh well I don't really care either way. I was just wanting opinions. I'm keeping him even if he is a roo! Lol.
