Hi, I'm another chook newbie & love reading all the tips & info here. I have three sexed chicks who are now 8-9 weeks old, supposedly pullets but I'm starting to think otherwise. Photo 1 is Penny the Plymouth Rock; photo 2 is Gladys the Golden Laced Wyandotte, and Sylvia the Silver Laced Wyandotte. Your thoughts?

Sylvia is your only pullet. The other two are most definitely male.

That's what I thought, thanks. Sylvia is definitely the friendliest of them & the other two squabble constantly!

Hi. I'm getting very mixed opinions on my Golden Laced Wyandotte. General consensus a couple of weeks ago was roo, but now a lot are saying pullet. Here's some updated pics - now 10 weeks old. Thoughts??

I actually think Gladys is a gorgeous pullet. [IMG] Her lacing looks blue to me.....is there any possibility that she's a BLRW instead?

Oh yay, thanks Alex! I think she's definitely a pullet too, and a gorgeous one at that [IMG] I see what you mean re the lacing colour, though certainly no red in her. But possibly BLGW?
