    I posted a picture of Simon a month or so ago. Maybe I'm just paranoid but it looks like she has saddle feathers. [​IMG]
    She'll be going on five months.

    You are seeing saddle feathers. Simon is a cockerel.

    Agreed. I was also looking at the fact that they are pointed not round at both the saddle and the hackle.

    The darker red shoulder and wing are also a male only trait. He'll be a nice looking boy when he gets his adult plumage.
