GENESIS 1588 question

It looks like my bator is trying to go up to 102....can someone look at the rockers in the thermostat & see what it is preset to?

It may be the height of my thermometer - I'm going to go put in the one they sent.

The preset is supposed to be number 4. If yours is swinging, toggle all of them off, unplug it, toggle number 4 on, and leave it for an hour or two to see where it settles out. Don't put any water in it.

What kind of thermometer are you using? The one that's included is basically useless.

I moved the thermometer and it is back at 100 will watch to make sure it stays- not sure of the brand, but it looks like one that Miss Prissy has in her bread box bator.....the one with thermometer/hygrometer....

I hadn't put the one that came with it in because I like the other better.


Thanks - mine is on 4, so I will just keep an eye on it tonight.

I reset the toggle switch, unplugged & replugged. It still says 102....when I move it it changes to 100, then goes back....the one that came with it says 100. I put another digital in & am waiting for it to level out. It is the "outside" part of a weather station type thermometer.

Will probably stop by Wally world tomorrow & get a new one.
