German Bantams

    I got yesterday my 3 German Bantams. Have a look how gorgeous they are!! [​IMG] [​IMG]

    I had the idea that they are not well-known outside Europe, because I couldn't find threads about this breed. Is that true?

    Try looking at the Phoenix thread. They look very similar.

    If "German Bantams" is a breed name I've never heard of them. Pretty birds though.

    The Phoenix bantam is a bit bigger and heavier. And the most important difference, the German Bantam has moulting tail feathers. Indeed, they look a bit the same, but it is really another breed. [​IMG]

    And, SilkiesForEver, I bought them from a breeder in the Netherlands (where I live).

    Never heard of this breed, hey are very beautiful :)the hens remind me of rose comb bantams a bit
