I'm getting 2 six month old Calico and Blue female kittens sometime this week!!

The mice and RATS are getting SO bold!! Just yesterday morning a rat showed it's gross face while I was feeding my girls.

And when I let them out of the coop into the barn to have some fun yesterday afternoon (I was training Koda at the same time) a mouse showed it's face in between my feet and Koda tried to pounce on it and chased into the flock. Needless to say that mouse is history.

Okay well I have 3 names for the Blue Kitten. If it's a light silvery blue her name will be "Silver Bells". I'm also thinking of Blue or Lil' Blue for her as well.

But I'm stuck as to what to name the Calico kitten. Can y'all help me out with this???? I'll post pictures when I get them home.

I'm don't know what she looks like. A lady called this morning replying to my ad and I decided on the 2 six month old kittens she was giving away. But I have to wait till the snow melts off the road before I can get them.

We have a bunch of cats that are calicos, torties, or torbies. Some of their names are Butterscotch (Scotch or Scootch for short), Patches (DD calls her Cheezy), Twilight, Beastie (she earned that name!), Wildebeast, two with white tipped tails called Nice Tippy and Evil Tippy (ET likes to bite toes)...

My barn cats actually don't seem to want to go after rats. I found a nest of them and the cats walked away. I had to enlist the dogs help. But that was the only time that I ever saw rats, and I rarely see a live mouse so maybe the cats go after rats when I am not looking?

I got my kittens tonight!!! They are in the laundry room right now. They are so sweet and pretty!! Their names are Blue and Callie.

Thank you Shadowhills Farm for the name Callie. I just love the name.
