Hello, our family is about to enter the world of Backyard Chickens and we are anxious to get started! However, we are leaving town for three weeks in May. We will have a house sitter come and take care of the rest of our critters, but I am wondering if it would be wise to leave them for so long at such a young age. We want them to be bonded to us obviously and I am wondering if leaving for those three weeks would disrupt that. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

[IMG] I wouldn't sweat it - I don't think a 3-week absence is going to affect your connection to them at all. As long as their needs are being met - food, water, shelter etc., they'll be perfectly happy while you are gone!

Thanks! I didn't think it really would, but just wanted some input. Can't wait to get them ordered!
