I have not started my chicken family yet but I have been doing a lot of reading. I was thinking of building a permanent coop for the main living house for my chickens and also using a tractor for the times when I want them to have some new scenery during the day as we have a lot of hawks in my area. Any thoughts or advice would be welcomed. Thanks. :)

First , plese give us a general location, as climate has an effect on the most workable libing quarters.

    And welcome to BYC!
