Giant Blue Cochins at the NW Stockshow

    GORGEOUS is all I can say. Never realized the difference in SQ and hatchery birds. NOW I do. This pair was huge and soooo pretty. There was also a Black pair and then a Buff Orp trio. WOW! Beautiful Beautiful! [​IMG]
     
  2. Did you go to the State Fair in Pueblo this last summer, holy wowsers, thye had some pretty birds there. I didn't get to go to the stockshow. Now I really wish I had!!

    No, my gosh I haven't been able to get down there in years, might have to make it a point to go this year [​IMG] .

    I was just in awe staring at these 2 birds. And I also saw my first little white Call duck up close. I think they are the cutest of the cute. They have a bunch of Silkies too. But the Cochins stole my heart.

    eta: the exhibits go until next Sunday, not sure how long the birds will be there though.

    We got the grounds pass for $12/pc lastnight. I think the weekday is $7/pc.

    The stock show has a week to go, but the bird show is over. There might still be birds left upstairs though for sale. [​IMG]
