I found an egg that is at least two times larger than a store bought large egg and at least three times the size if the eggs we have been getting. The shell is very thin and it broken off on the top and I don't know if I can still eat it?[IMG]

We have had a few like that. When broken open we found white surrounding yet another full egg!

If the membrane is broken and it was leaking, I wouldn't eat it.
If membrane is intact and it's not dirty, I'd eat it but soon.

There are always those yummy double yolkers, thar could explain a major size difference too.

One of my girls served up a giant egg today. I got quite a shock when I saw it.

Yes, they all seemed normal, you'd think the one who did it would be lying about, exhausted, but no, still running about and hoping for treats.
