    [​IMG] [​IMG]New to the site from Wyoming, I have a lethargic chicken in triage right now that is probably suffering from internal injuries from a fight most likely .....White Leghorn 7 months... Flock : 4 Buff Orpingtons 5 New Hampshire Reds 5 White Leghorns including the sick one All are pullets and seven months old.. 2 long island reds 2 Australorp 1.7 yr old ...... My sick White Leghorn is lethargic not eating or drinking just kind of gets up every once in a while ... hydrating every hour but .......worried

    So sorry to hear about your hen. These things happen. It might help to get her under a brooder lamp, as injuries can cause a bird to go into shock, which makes them very cold. Sometimes the shock kills them long before the injury. Keep the temp up around 80+ degrees. She may heal up if given the opportunity. Good luck with her. [​IMG]

    Thanks I have her I have her isolated and inside by the humidifier with VetRin it....im such a newbie
