Ginger bread help

    I have this really cool ginger bread house designed but I can't think of a candy that looks like straw and pine shavings.
    Does anyone have any ideas on what i can use to make straw bedding and pine shavings?

    yup! good ideas! grated lemon peel or toasted coconut.. yum!

    Shreadded wheat is a good straw stand-in.
